Hostel rooms surrounded by nature at Porten till Alvaret / The Gateway to the Alvar. The research station is driven by the Station Linné foundation. The station is frequently visited by researchers and students from all over the world.
Our rooms have 2-6 beds, with warm water and internet connection in every room. Shared toilets and showers. Shared kitchen, tv-room and garden. Little shop. Conference room and working spaces for researchers and schools/universities. Library.

Take along towels and sheets or hire them from us.

We offer nature tours and activities year round. Check our website for the latest programme or book your own tour.

NOTE! Not staffed after 16 pm on weekdays and weekends are not manned. At later arrival than 16 pm weekdays call for key information +46 485 385 84. Upon arrival during the weekend, the guest must hear from the hostels before 16 pm Friday.
